Frequently Asked Questions

What is so unique and different about your process?

We pride our self on using only eco-friendly materials. Our inks are 100% plant based, biodegradable and approved for babies by the OEKO-TEX ® Standard. Our printer Kornit© Allegro is designed to reduce waste in fabric, ink consumption and electricity making it an energy and material conscious printer.

What are your choices of stock fabric?

Currently, in stock, we carry Interlock knit jersey, broadcloth, 4-way poly-spandex, linen blend, 100% polyester, sateen, and silk. We are always expanding our inventory so please keep on checking with us.

What kind of inks do you use?

We use 100% plant-based, biodegradable pigmented inks. Our inks have a great range of color gamut. Unlike dye-based inks that use a very small particles of colorant that dissolves very easily in liquid and get damaged by ultraviolet light rays,  pigment based inks use far larger particles of colorant held in suspension which do not run in liquid or get harmed by UV lights making it much more durable and fade resistant to the elements over time.

What are your fabric widths?

This will vary from fabric to fabric. Most of our stock fabrics range from 42 inches to 62 inches. However, we have the capability to print as wide as 65 inches.

How do I get my files printed?

Simply email us your files. Once we receive them, we will start the approval process and proceed to print.

What is your standard turnaround time?

Our standard turnaround time is 5 to 7 business days after approval. Rush services are available.

What is an approval process?

We strongly recommend that all of our clients get an approval on all jobs regardless of size. In order to assure color accuracy, we will provide you an 18 to 24-inch print. Please contact us for more details.

How do you assure color accuracy?

All of our prints are made by using Caldera RIP for textile. We have profiled all of our stock fabrics to ensure color accuracy and be faithful to your original artwork. If needed we can make global or localized color correction either based on our technician’s expertise or on your recommendations. Our ultimate goal is to achieve the utmost superb quality of output.

What is your order minimum?

We have no MOQ. You can place an order for 1 yard to start with.

Do you keep files on archive?

Yes. At your request, we can archive your file for repeat printing.

Can you print on customer supplied or on special order fabrics?

Most likely yes. Although our printer accommodates printing on a variety of media we would still need to measure the thickness and test your fabric as well.

How can you assure color accuracy on a non-stocked fabric?

If we have determined that we can print on your fabric, we can create a custom profile of that material. Please contact us for fees and timeline.

What kind of files do you need for printing?

We can work from a variety of files such as JPEG, TIFF, PNG, EPS, AI, PDF.

What about files sizes?

The ultimate output will be from a 300 dpi file sized to the actual output. However, we will accept and work with files that are 150 dpi to output size. For example, if your repeat pattern is 12 x 12 inches or 20 x 20 inches we would need the file to be a minimum of 20×20 @150 dpi. From there, if needed, we can set and repeat the patterns to a seamless output.
